 WHAT IS CO-HEART?

CO-HEART stands for Community Organizers Helping Educators Address Racial Tension. This initiative is a full-day, interactive Diversity & Inclusion workshop designed specifically for teachers and educators. The program was born from the realization that addressing issues of racial tension are matters of the heart. That is also the language, values, and expectations of our new generation. As we have evolved from the Industrial Age of building with our hands, to the Information Age of creating with our minds, we have now transitioned to the Connection Age, which requires connecting with our hearts.

 OUR PURPOSE

The CO-HEART diversity training program exists for the sole purpose of helping educators across the country build, maintain, strengthen, and restore healthy climates of inclusion and racial harmony in our schools. We deliver on this purpose by leveraging relevant industry experience and expertise to proactively engage teachers, educators, and students of diverse communities and backgrounds via on and offline platforms and curriculums. We do this in a way that will educate and empower all parties involved with the insights, perspectives, and tools to build and maintain meaningful connections and healthy relationships.
